I just heard about the Saakshar Bharat scheme that hopes to bring literay to all, spoecially to those who've crossed the age to go to school or college and yet have an undying urge to educate themselves. It's just not that they should read and count but get exposure to all that that had been deprived to them, be it arts, crafts or a general access to means to get information on anything they need. Such a lofty mission, I felt, and such wonderfula plans! No doubt India is all poised to become a Super Power by 2020. Godspeed India ! Mera Bharat Mahan!
